Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Capture Engineer to own territory-based capture work for a portfolio of states, building relationships with government stakeholders and translating market signals into qualified leads.

You’ll lead pre-RFP conversations, craft state win strategies, and coordinate with RevOps and Solutions Architects, applying AI-native content generation to accelerate outbound efforts while maintaining credibility with state CIOs and agency leaders.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in a client-facing capture or BD role in government tech or civic tech
• Able to engage substantive conversations with agency leaders and technical buyers
• Experience using AI-native tools for research, writing, and asset generation
• Strong self-motivation and mission alignment with public service goals

Responsibilities

• Own territory strategy and capture planning for 3–5 states; develop win strategies and next actions
• Manage 8–12 state agency contacts per territory and build trusted relationships
• Lead AI-native content creation: one-pagers, briefing packets, capability summaries
• Coordinate with RevOps and Solutions Architects; shape procurement requirements pre-RFP
