Job summary

Nava, a public benefit consultancy, seeks a Capture Engineer to own state-based territory capture from signal to close. You will build state playbooks, engage government stakeholders, and coordinate with RevOps to unlock opportunities in a remote-first environment.

In this role you’ll generate AI-driven outbound assets, shape procurement requirements pre-RFP, and lead technical workshops with state agencies, delivering credible strategies and compelling win themes.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in a client-facing, capture, or territory management role in government technology or public sector consulting.
• Working knowledge of state government agency operations and federal compliance.
• Ability to engage with technical buyers on implementation approaches.
• Proven track record in shaping requirements pre-RFP and pursuing wins.
• Strong AI-native content generation and outbound strategy skills.
• Self-driven, proactive asset creation and territory advancement.

Responsibilities

• Territory Strategy & Capture Planning: Own 3–5 states; develop and maintain a territory capture plan with ICPs, political context, triggers, relationship maps, assets, and 90-day plans.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain warm relationships with 8–12 state agency contacts per territory; deliver value through intelligence and case studies.
• AI‑Native Content & Asset Generation: Self‑generate outbound materials using AI tools and Nava’s knowledge base; create prototypes and demo assets.
• Pursuit & Pipeline Contribution: Own win theme development and pursue strategies; surface signals to pipeline; coordinate with RevOps; design POC or demos when needed.
