Job summary

Pearson is seeking a State Adoption Advanced Specialist to own strategy and post-adoption execution for CTE state bids. You will analyze enrollment data and district needs, guiding Product and Content teams on requirements.

You will partner with RFP/Bid Management and Sales, coordinate district communications, and navigate state rules such as cone of silence in Texas, enabling successful adoptions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in K-12 state adoptions, curriculum procurement, or CTE program strategy.
• Experience navigating state adoption bid processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communicator translating complex state requirements into guidance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal SME on CTE state adoption processes, requirements, and timelines.
• Interpret state-specific submission requirements and translate into guidance for teams.
• Track state adoption calendars, legislation, and regulatory changes affecting curriculum.
• Collaborate with RFP/Bid Management to prepare bids and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate district communications and manage official adoption dates and events.
