Job summary

Pearson is seeking a State Adoption Advanced Specialist to own strategy and execution for CTE state adoptions. You will interpret state requirements, guide submissions, and coordinate with RFP/Bid Management to position our portfolio competitively within adoption cycles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in K-12 state adoptions, curriculum procurement, or CTE strategy.
• Experience navigating Texas state adoption processes is a plus.
• Proven ability to interpret state requirements and guide internal teams.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and project coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal SME on CTE state adoption processes, timelines, and requirements.
• Research state enrollment data and competitive landscapes to inform product decisions.
• Translate state-specific submission requirements into clear guidance for teams.
• Relay courseware needs to product teams to clear state review hurdles.
• Coordinate with Sales to support state adoption materials and strategize sell-in.
• Act as a district-facing contact during state adoption reviews and calendar events.
• Monitor state procurement contracts and update internal stakeholders.
