Job summary

Pearson is seeking a State Adoption Advanced Specialist to own strategy, interpretation of state requirements, and post-adoption execution for CTE curriculum bids. You will work with RFP/Bid Management, product, and district stakeholders to ensure submissions are precise and aligned with state review criteria.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in K-12 state adoptions, strong research skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable guidance across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in K-12 state adoptions, curriculum procurement, or CTE program strategy.
• Experience with Texas state adoption is especially helpful and valued.
• Navigate state bid processes and provide strategic guidance to teams.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional groups and bid management.
• Self-starter with research, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal expert on state adoption processes, requirements, and timelines.
• Research state enrollment data and competitive landscapes to inform decisions.
• Translate state requirements into clear guidance for product and content teams.
• Coordinate with Sales and Bid Management for state adoption materials and execution.
• Manage district-facing communication and post-adoption execution planning.
