Job summary

Pearson seeks a State Adoption Advanced Specialist to own strategy, interpretation of state requirements, and post-adoption execution for CTE curriculum bids. You will guide submission strategy, coordinate with RFP/Bid Management, and translate complex state rules into actionable product guidance.

You will analyze state enrollment data and competitive landscapes, then relay nuances to Product and Content teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in K-12 state adoptions, curriculum procurement, or CTE program strategy in educational technology or a related field.
• Experience with the Texas state adoption process is especially helpful.
• Demonstrated expertise navigating state adoption bid processes and strategic positioning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal expert on CTE state adoption processes, requirements, and timelines.
• Research state enrollment data and competitive landscapes to inform product decisions.
• Translate state-specific requirements into clear guidance for teams executing bids and submissions.
• Navigate district-specific communication rules including region-specific protocols like the "cone of silence".
• Support district engagement, respond to procurement and compliance needs, and coordinate with Sales on sell-in strategies.
