Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead design and development of our Cloud Threat Detection Platform. You will own high-throughput submission pipelines, microservices, sandbox execution, and platform features from concept to production.

You will work across full-stack interfaces using React, Django, HTML/CSS, and modern AI tooling while ensuring secure AWS infrastructure and compliance with FedRAMP and data residency guidelines.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of professional software development experience.
• AWS cloud expertise at enterprise scale.
• Linux proficiency and shell scripting.
• Python experience with FastAPI/Django/Flask.
• REST/async APIs handling millions of requests.
• C/C++ knowledge for interfaces with inspection engines.
• CI/CD and IaC with GitHub Actions, Terraform, AWS CDK.
• Full-stack proficiency with Django and React.
• AWS core infra: VPCs, EC2, S3, OpenSearch, DynamoDB.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Cloud Threat Detection Platform components.
• Develop high-throughput submission pipelines and microservices.
• Create modern web interfaces and dashboards.
• Implement secure AWS infrastructure and compliance controls.
• Incorporate AI tooling into development and reviews.
• Own production issues end-to-end and SLA commitments.
