Job summary

Trellix in Frisco, TX seeks a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead design and development of the Cloud Threat Detection Platform, driving high-throughput submission pipelines and secure AWS infrastructure.

You will work across full-stack UI with React/Django, implement secure API boundaries, and mentor teams while delivering scalable, compliant security solutions in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of professional software development experience building and operating high-throughput microservices and cloud platforms.
• Deep AWS cloud expertise across compute, networking, security, and storage for large-scale systems.
• Strong Python (FastAPI/Django) and web technology skills with REST and async APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of the Cloud Threat Detection Platform from concept to production.
• Architect and implement high-throughput submission pipelines and microservices.
• Develop full-stack interfaces and dashboards using React, Django, HTML/CSS.
• Ensure security, compliance, and FedRAMP/regulated boundary awareness.
