Job summary

Trellix seeks a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead the design and development of our Cloud Threat Detection Platform, architecting high‑throughput pipelines, microservices, and secure AWS infrastructure.

You will work across full‑stack interfaces with React and Django, implement secure boundaries with OAuth2/JWT, and collaborate with threat research teams while potentially commuting to Frisco, TX 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep AWS cloud architecture expertise.
• Linux proficiency and shell scripting.
• Strong Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) development and debugging.
• CI/CD and IaC experience (GitHub Actions, Terraform, AWS CDK).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity threat detection and threat research workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Cloud Threat Detection Platform from concept to production.
• Lead submission pipelines, high-throughput microservices, and sandbox execution.
• Build modern, responsive UI dashboards using React and Django.
• Design and manage AWS infrastructure with security controls.
• Ensure Secure Development Lifecycle practices and FedRAMP compliance.
