Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead design and development of a high-performance Cloud Threat Detection Platform. You will own architecture for submission pipelines, microservices, and analyst web interfaces, while aligning with secure AWS infrastructure and AI tooling.

The role requires 11+ years of experience, deep AWS expertise, and strong full-stack capabilities across Python, React, and security-focused development.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of professional software development experience with high-throughput microservices and cloud platforms.
• Deep AWS cloud architecture knowledge for large-scale systems.
• Proficient Python development with FastAPI, Django, Flask.
• Strong React/JS UI and full-stack web skills.
• Solid security, identity, and regulatory familiarity (FedRAMP, SDL).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a Cloud Threat Detection Platform with high-throughput pipelines.
• Lead the architecture of submission engines, microservices, and web interfaces.
• Build scalable AWS infrastructure and secure API boundaries.
• Collaborate across threat research, engineering, and threat intel teams.
• Own production issues end-to-end and drive reliability SLAs.
