Job summary

Pragmatike is building AI-powered infrastructure and seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to lead complex deployments for enterprise customers. This full-time, remote role requires deep technical judgment and strong customer communication to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable solutions.

You will own projects from discovery through deployment, develop integrations and tooling, and partner with Product and Engineering to enhance the platform. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming in Python, TypeScript, Go.
• Experience deploying production software.
• Strong systems, API, and debugging skills.
• Experience working with customers or cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• High ownership and ability to drive projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical requirements and operational challenges with customers.
• Build, deploy, and customize production solutions in customer environments.
• Develop integrations, automation, APIs, and internal tooling.
• Translate customer feedback into product and engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application and infrastructure layers.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to improve platform capabilities.
• Own projects from technical discovery through deployment and iteration.
• Develop reusable solutions that scale across customers.
• Improve deployment processes, observability, and reliability.
• Act as a technical advisor and trusted engineering partner to customers.
