Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers, translating real-world requirements into production systems and accelerating adoption of our AI-powered infrastructure. This highly technical, customer-facing role blends software development, systems thinking, and hands-on implementation.

You will own projects from discovery to deployment, build integrations, and contribute to tooling and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience building and deploying production software.
• Strong systems, API, integration, and debugging skills.
• Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• High ownership and ability to drive projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and operational challenges.
• Build, deploy, and customize production solutions in customer environments.
• Develop integrations, automation, APIs, and internal tooling.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable product and engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across application and infrastructure layers.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve platform capabilities.
• Own projects from technical discovery through deployment and iteration.
• Develop reusable solutions that scale across multiple customers.
• Improve deployment processes, documentation, observability, and reliability.
