Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to own technically complex customer deployments and shape forward deployment strategy at scale. You will work directly with customers to define requirements, build production solutions, and develop APIs and automation.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of software engineering, strong Python/TypeScript/Go skills, and a proven track record of deploying production software in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming in Python, TypeScript, Go or similar.
• Experience building and deploying production software.
• Strong systems, API, integration, and debugging skills.
• Experience working with customers or cross-functional teams.
• Able to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• High ownership and ability to drive projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand requirements and challenges.
• Build, deploy, and customize production solutions in customer environments.
• Develop integrations, automation, APIs, and internal tooling.
• Translate customer feedback into product and engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across app and infra layers.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve platform capabilities.
• Own projects from discovery through deployment and iteration.
• Create reusable solutions scalable across customers.
• Improve deployment processes, observability, and reliability.
