Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to lead complex technical deployments for enterprise customers. This full-time, remote role requires deep technical judgment, strong customer communication, and the ability to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

You will work directly with customers, build production solutions, develop integrations and tooling, and partner with Product and Engineering to improve platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming experience in Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience building and deploying production software.
• Strong systems, API, integration, and debugging skills.
• Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and operational challenges.
• Build, deploy, and customize production solutions in customer environments.
• Develop integrations, automation, APIs, and internal tooling.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable product and engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across application and infrastructure layers.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to improve platform capabilities.
• Own projects from technical discovery through deployment and iteration.
• Develop reusable solutions that can scale across multiple customers.
• Improve deployment processes, documentation, observability, and reliability.
• Act as a technical advisor and trusted engineering partner to customers.
