Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to own technically complex customer deployments and help define deployment strategy at scale for enterprise clients. You will work directly with customers to understand requirements, build and deploy production solutions, and develop integrations, APIs, and tooling across cloud and on-prem environments.

This role demands strong leadership and broad technical reach.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming experience in Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience building and deploying production software.
• Strong systems, API, integration, and debugging skills.
• Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
• High ownership and ability to independently drive projects.

Responsibilities

• Own some of the company's most technically complex customer deployments.
• Help define how forward deployment at scale is approached.
• Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and operational challenges.
• Build, deploy, and customize production solutions in customer environments.
• Develop integrations, automation, APIs, and internal tooling.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable product and engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across application and infrastructure layers.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to improve platform capabilities.
• Own projects from technical discovery through deployment and iteration.
