Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group is hiring a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day and month-end accounting functions. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with audits under the Accounting Manager, ensuring accurate ledgers and timely month-end close.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 1–3 years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. This remote position is open to multiple states with standard corporate benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes is essential.
• Proficiency with Excel, including formulas, pivots, and lookups is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals and reclassifications, with proper documentation.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and assist with audits.
• Support monthly close, variance analysis, and financial reporting schedules.
• Investigate posting errors and assist in improving internal controls.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and accounting tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
