Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day and month-end accounting operations in a remote role across multiple states, including Florida. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with audits under the Accounting Manager, contributing to accurate monthly closes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 1–3 years of experience with GAAP, Excel, and ERP systems; healthcare industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years general accounting experience; month-end close and reconciliations preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and strong Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP/general ledger systems; healthcare exp. is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations with proper documentation.
• Assist with audits by compiling schedules and reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes per calendar.
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers and investigate posting errors.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting schedules and variance analyses.
