Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day and month-end accounting activities. You will prepare monthly journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with internal and external audit requests under supervision of the Accounting Manager.

The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and compliance with GAAP, with opportunities to improve processes and contribute to timely monthly closes. Remote position open to U.S. candidates.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of general accounting experience; month-end close and reconciliation experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
• Experience with an ERP or general ledger system; ability to handle confidential financial information.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly journal entries (accruals, prepaid amortization, reclassifications, recurring entries) with proper documentation.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts (cash, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities).
• Maintain organized, audit-ready workpapers and reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger activity and correct posting errors.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting schedules and variance analysis.
• Support ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by Accounting Manager.
