Job summary

Swing Education is seeking a Staff Accountant to own billing and accounts receivable for a large, remote finance team supporting a marketplace that connects K-12 schools with substitute teachers. You’ll handle weekly invoicing, daily cash application, and collections while reporting to the Accounting Manager.

You’ll also contribute to the monthly close, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and the annual audit, with opportunities to streamline processes and gain broad exposure to the

Qualifications

• Full-cycle billing and AR ownership.
• Invoice district and charter customers weekly, apply payments daily, and keep the open-invoice list accurate.
• Process collections to maintain relationships with school districts and resolve past-due balances.
• Contribute to monthly close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting; assist with the annual audit.
• Progress toward CPA license is a plus.
