Job summary

Swing Education is seeking a Staff Accountant to own end-to-end billing and accounts receivable for a large K-12 substitute marketplace. You will invoice districts weekly, apply daily payments, and manage credits while supporting the monthly close and revenue recognition.

In this role you’ll partner with finance leadership, impact audits, and help improve close processes. Fully remote within the United States, salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Full-cycle billing and AR ownership
• Ability to collect past-due balances while maintaining relationships
• Ability to determine billing disputes and issue credits
• Close fundamentals including journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for cash, revenue, AR, and deferred revenue

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end billing and AR processes for the marketplace.
• Post payments daily and manage remittances with accuracy.
• Support month-end close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
