Job summary

PerformYard is a fast-growing, category-leading B2B SaaS company seeking an accounting professional to own order-to-cash, billing, and accounts receivable processes in a fully remote role. You'll work with Finance, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to ensure accurate revenue recognition and a smooth close, while supporting billings and reconciliations across systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience, SaaS or subscription billing a plus.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition concepts.
• Bachelor's in accounting or finance.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivots, large data sets).
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support order-to-cash cycle from closed-won to revenue recording.
• Review orders for billing accuracy and invoicing start dates.
• Manage the billing inbox and resolve invoice questions.
• Generate invoices, apply cash receipts, and run AR aging.
• Prepare journal entries and month-end close.
• Support sales tax filings and process documentation.
