RethinkFirst is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. The role focuses on day-to-day accounting, month-end close support, and GAAP compliance in a remote-first environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of accounting experience, solid Excel skills, and experience with Sage Intacct. Remote opportunities available in IA, with competitive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Undergrad degree in Accounting or Finance; 2–3 years accounting exp.
• Advanced Excel: pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with Sage Intacct ERP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results.
• Prioritize conflicting demands and communicate with senior management.

Aufgaben

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist month-end close: balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines for financial reporting and reviews.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
