Tide is seeking an Engineering Leader to hire, coach, and own a high-performing Site Reliability Engineering team. You will define SLOs, run the observability platform, and ensure safe releases with canary rollouts and auto-rollback across critical services.

You will drive reliability, reduce toil, and translate incident learnings into durable platform improvements while partnering with product engineering to meet member expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software or infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.
• Hands-on experience instrumenting Java, Python, and Go with OpenTelemetry.
• Experience using Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and Java.

Responsabilités

• Lead, hire, and coach the SRE team with clear goals.
• Define SLOs with service owners and manage error budgets.
• Own observability platform 24/7 including alerts.
• Release safely with canary rollouts and auto-rollback.
• Build resilience and detect partner degradation via monitoring.
• Remove toil by automating incident work and writing timelines.
• Turn post-mortems into platform-wide fixes.
• Measure outcomes with reliability metrics and support product teams.
