Job summary

Fingerprint is seeking its first dedicated Site Reliability Engineer to shape the platform's reliability across eight engineering groups. You will collaborate with the Architect, Cloud Platform, and product teams to define SLIs/SLOs, improve incident response, and coach teams to design for failure.

Qualifications

• Design and implement SLI/SLOs for critical paths and drive adoption across teams.
• Lead incident response and postmortems, improving organizational learning.
• Build and maintain reliability tooling, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Coach teams to design for failure and operate with observability in mind.
• Apply AI-assisted incident investigation and runbook authoring practices.

Responsibilities

• Make reliability measurable by defining SLIs/SLOs and aligning decisions to error budgets.
• Raise the operational bar with improved incident response, postmortem quality, alerting, and change safety.
• Build the SRE mindset by embedding with teams and codifying best practices.
• Stay hands-on with production incidents, tooling development, and observability enhancements.
• Lead AI adoption in reliability practices and shape tooling and runbooks.
