Job summary

Lumicera Health Services, powered by Navitus, invites applications for an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure complete patient records. You will coordinate with patients and doctors, translate prescription info into the dispensing system, and assist with prior authorizations when needed.

Under supervision from the Assoc. Manager, Patient Support Services, you will support pharmacists and the team, handle varied hours, and help maintain compliance and accurate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college preferred.
• Pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Ability to work scheduled hours; shifts may vary by department needs.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including care management, copay assistance, and billing information.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage the assigned workflow queues with accuracy.
• Document information and prescription order set up in the dispensing software.
• Comply with applicable laws and uphold high ethical standards.
