Lumicera is hiring an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and maintain complete patient records. The role involves calling patients, coordinating with doctors and insurers, and entering prescription information into the dispensing software.

Assist with prior authorizations and other pharmacy technician duties as needed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and healthcare experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or pharmacy support is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.

Aufgaben

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services and assist with billing information.
• Answer inbound patient, prescriber, and healthcare professional calls.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information for prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of information and orders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and high ethical standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
