Job summary

Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure complete patient records are captured. The role involves communicating with patients and providers to obtain information, manage triage for prior authorizations, and support dispensing workflows.

Responsibilities include calling patients, enrolling them into care management and billing processes, and maintaining accurate documentation while following legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• National CPhT and/or state licensure per residing state requirements.
• Pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay assistance, billing).
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information and documents.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and prescription order setup.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and ethical standards.
