Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. seeks a senior GNC engineer to design and implement guidance, navigation and control architectures in an embedded C++ environment.

The role includes defining requirements for ADCS hardware and software for current missions and future roadmap opportunities. The ideal candidate will perform analysis and simulation of GNC performance, collaborate on an offline geolocation pipeline, and support software- and hardware-in-the-loop validation.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent; 2–3 years of professional GNC experience.
• Proficient in C++ and embedded systems.
• Experience with ADCS, precision pointing platforms, and spacecraft operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement guidance, navigation & control architectures and algorithms in an embedded C++ environment.
• Define requirements for ADCS algorithms, hardware, and related systems for existing missions and roadmap development.
• Perform analysis and simulation of mission-specific GNC performance.
• Collaborate on the development of an offline geolocation processing pipeline.
• Support software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning, execution, and validation.
