Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a principal GNC engineer to design and implement guidance, navigation, and control architectures in an embedded C++ environment.

You will define ADCS requirements for missions and help shape future roadmaps, while performing rigorous GNC analyses and simulations. You will collaborate on offline geolocation processing and support software- and hardware-in-the-loop validation, drawing on Python, Julia, and MATLAB skills.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or equivalent) with 2–3 years of professional experience
• Hands-on experience with GNC analysis and design

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GNC architectures and algorithms in an embedded C++ environment
• Define requirements for ADCS algorithms, hardware, and related systems for existing missions and roadmaps
• Perform analysis and simulation of mission-specific GNC performance
• Collaborate on offline geolocation processing pipeline
• Support software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning, execution, and validation
