The role involves defining requirements for ADCS algorithms for current missions and future roadmaps, plus performing mission-specific GNC analysis and simulations. The position supports collaboration on an offline geolocation processing pipeline and requires experience with control of precise pointing platforms.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with GNC analysis and design.
• US Government security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement guidance, navigation & control architectures and algorithms in an embedded C++ environment.
• Define requirements for ADCS algorithms, hardware, and related systems.
• Perform analysis and simulation of mission-specific GNC performance.
• Collaborate on development of an offline geolocation processing pipeline.
• Support software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning, execution, and validation.
