Job summary

Ladders, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, seeks a Solutions Engineer - West to join our team remotely in the United States. The role partners with sales to guide technical discovery, shape architecture discussions, and support proofs of concept across the pre-sales lifecycle.

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating product capabilities into business value for executive and technical audiences, gather customer feedback, collaborate with product and engineering, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions engineering or similar customer-facing role.
• Experience with SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven track record in leading proofs of concept and developing technical champions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a history of industry leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with security compliance frameworks such as PII, PCI, or HIPAA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical discovery, architecture design, and proof-of-concept work throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to create compelling technical value propositions.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations and workshops for C-level and technical stakeholders.
• Build trust with customers and identify technical champions as a strategic advisor.
• Relay customer feedback to internal Product and Engineering teams to help influence the roadmap.
• Lead technical initiatives across regions and enhance tools for global scalability.
• Mentor junior team members and share industry best practices within the SE team.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the company's offerings and industry trends.
