Job summary

Twilio Inc. is hiring for a remote-friendly pre-sales engineer based in the United Kingdom. You will partner with Account Executives to run demonstrations, POCs, and design documentation to drive customer success with Twilio APIs.

Required: 5+ years in pre-sales or 3+ years in delivery/consulting with strong communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with backend and frontend tech and REST APIs enhances your impact and collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience selling complex, technical products or 3+ years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing work.
• Excellent communicator and presenter able to gain audience confidence.
• Ability to understand a customer’s communications needs and guide them to a technical solution.
• Experience with backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP) and web frontend (JavaScript/HTML/CSS; React, Vue.js, Angular) and REST APIs.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification, demonstrations, POC, RFP, design documentation and enablement sessions.
• Lead technical and product sales by recommending best-practice solutions and guiding customers on Twilio APIs.
• Build and present interactive, complex product demonstrations and form strong customer relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Be hands-on, high-energy, and a creative problem solver guiding customers and internal teams to success.
• Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing and reusable materials.
