Job summary

Checkly is seeking a remote post-sales Solutions Engineer to bridge onboarding and long-term account growth for a developer tools platform in the synthetic monitoring space. You will work between onboarding and ongoing customer success, partnering with engineering teams using the product.

The role requires hands-on monitoring/observability experience, ability to read and write code (JavaScript/Node.js), and comfort with async-first work from the US East Coast. Occasional travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Approximately two years of post-sales technical experience in solutions engineering or similar roles.
• Hands-on background in monitoring, observability, or automated testing tooling.
• Ability to read, write, and debug code, including JavaScript/Node.js.
• Comfort using AI-assisted coding and research tools to accelerate deliverables.
• Strong English communication and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
• Async-first, self-motivated work style based on US East Coast (ET).

Responsibilities

• Own technical onboarding for new accounts, including implementation and production workloads.
• Run workshops and training sessions for customer engineering teams.
• Act as ongoing technical contact to support adoption, troubleshooting, and expansion.
• Lead independent customer meetings, from technical deep dives to check-ins.
• Contribute to technical documentation and internal playbooks.
• Channel feedback to product engineering and marketing teams.
