Job summary

KEV Group is seeking a Solutions Engineer to design tailored software solutions for schools and districts. You will be the technical expert throughout the sales cycle, demonstrating capabilities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role blends deep technical knowledge with customer-facing interaction to bridge sales and client success.

You’ll collaborate with product management, engineering and support to ensure feedback drives improvements. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
3+ years in a sales engineering/pre-sales role.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work across different time zones.
Ability to design large-scale software solutions.

Responsibilities

Act as SME with prospects and stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
Deliver impactful product demonstrations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with product, engineering and support to feed feedback into improvements.
Partner with Account Executives on strategy, territory and planning.
Represent KEV at events and tradeshows.
Update sales on new features and help craft demo solutions.
Handle ad hoc projects as requested by leadership.
