Job summary

BigID is seeking a Services Delivery Engineer in the EST time zone to own setup, integration, and deployment of BigID's discovery tools for customers and partners. You’ll translate requirements into working solutions, troubleshoot root causes, and partner with Engineering and Product to improve future rollouts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role in enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational knowledge across compute, storage, networking, databases, DevOps, security, and application development.
• Experience across the full solution lifecycle: problem identification, architecture, implementation, testing, training, and deployment.
• Proactive mindset—identifying challenges before they block.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs.
• Programming in Java or Python.
• Experience with MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, or IBM DB2.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand technical requirements and map them to business objectives.
• Plan and lead implementation engagements — deploying solution components and configuring the product to meet each client's environment.
• Coordinate rollout and integration across internal teams and client organizations.
• Deliver technical training tailored to admins and executives.
• Identify root causes of deployment issues and drive resolution.
• Document field issues and opportunities to improve the implementation process with Eng/PM.
