Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant to align technical guidance with customers’ security needs. You will define solutions, lead architectural discussions, and help customers realize value from a broad PANW portfolio.

This is a remote role with travel to customer sites as needed. You will collaborate with Sales, Services, and Specialist teams to drive adoption of PANW platforms, showcase demonstrations, and deliver Workshops that articulate security transformations

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering.
• Experience in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
• Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders; prior pre-sales role is ideal.
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
• Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP or SOC Transformation Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans.
• Position, demonstrate and create high level designs across PANW portfolio to create business value.
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform to increase productivity and security.
• Conduct discovery to understand key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialists for adoption of solutions.
• Lead technical validation efforts to ensure a technical win in opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to maintain a one-team approach.
• Promote end-to-end solutions to realize business value sooner.
