Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Consultant to align how we best serve customers, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization across their security journey.

You will lead technical engagements, design high-level solutions across the PANW portfolio, and collaborate with Professional Services and Customer Success to drive adoption. Travel may be required as part of field activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering
• Skilled in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives preferred
• Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders; prior pre-sales experience ideal
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
• Experience selling/designing/implementing/managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
• Partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions
• Understanding of sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions preferred
• This is a field sales position travel may be required; discuss specifics with the recruiter
• Proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross-platform solutions
• Understands customer business requirements and can position, demonstrate and create high level designs across PANW portfolio
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform; build relationships to increase productivity, security efficacy, and flexibility to innovate
• Conducting discovery to understand and articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers
• Work with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams to ensure overall implementation and adoption of solutions
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, deliver impactful presentations and customer demos, and conduct workshops that are clear and actionable
• Lead technical validation efforts to ensure technical win in opportunities
• Demonstrate cross-functional leadership to coordinate resources for a cohesive strategy
• Promote end-to-end solutions for faster business value realization for customers
• Understand competitive landscape and differentiate PANW's leadership
