Job summary

CSG is seeking a Solution Engineer to blend pre-sales and technical work, educating customers and mapping technical benefits to business needs. You will tailor demonstrations and document solutions for complex customer requirements.

Reporting to the Manager, Solution Engineering, you will collaborate with Sales, Services, Architecture, Development, and Product teams across multiple regions to drive successful deals and provide robust technical close support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• 5+ years in print/mail or billing/CSS to match business needs.
• Strong background in integration with BSS systems.
• Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work in a consultative pre-sales role.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end sales process with Sales Manager/Director.
• Lead opportunity qualification meetings with prospective customers.
• Facilitate requirements gathering to map business problems to solutions.
• Build and present tailored demonstrations aligned to needs.
• Create solution description documents detailing goals and benefits.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs with cross-functional input.
• Support post-sale activities including POCs and scenarios.
• Assist with cost-benefit analyses and business justification.
