Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations for drilling pile installation, racking, and module installation on utility-scale solar projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role is fully remote with frequent travel to project sites. A 4‑year Construction degree and 7+ years’ experience are preferred; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and understand construction plans and specs.
• Professional email and letter writing
• Proficiency with MS Project scheduling
• Costing/Dashboards/Technical reporting in MS Excel
• Experience with Spectrum and Procore preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to manage flexible hours and dynamic environments
• Minimum 4‑year degree in Construction (or related field)
• 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• PMP preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, supervise, and control execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions.
• Determine technical skills and staff hours for successful project completion.
• Distribute technical and contractual information to project team.
• Prepare activity reports and client/project management documentation.
• Create change orders and notices for clients and management.
• Manage schedules and budgets; coordinate material logistics with procurement and subs
• Support customer relationship at professional/technical level.
• Set goals for field management, subcontractors, and vendors; drive task ownership.
• Manage performance and quality to ensure on-time project completion.
• Order delivery of materials/equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize cost.
• Enforce company policies, safety standards, and installation best practices.
• Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings.
