Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Manager within SDI Services to oversee drilling pile installation, racking, and module install on solar PV projects. This fully remote role involves coordinating field teams, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Travel is expected, and the position requires a 4-year Construction degree or equivalent plus 7+ years experience; PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient at reading and understanding construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of projects.
• Assists in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project.
• Obtains, analyzes, and circulates technical and contractual information to other members of the project team.
• Prepares reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
• Prepares notices and change order documentation for the client and project management.
• Determines and manages schedules and budgets for assigned project proposal and close outs, monitors progress and manages material logistics.
• Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate coordination between office and field.
• Attends site walks and pre-construction planning meetings.
