Job summary

SOLV Energy, including its SDI Services affiliate, is seeking a Project Manager to plan and direct day-to-day operations for solar PV projects, including drilling pile installation, racking, module installation, and quality control. This senior role requires frequent travel and is fully remote with location to be discussed.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Construction or related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of experience.
• PMP preferred, but not required.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of projects.
• Assists in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project.
• Obtains, analyzes, and circulates technical and contractual information to other members of the project team.
• Prepares reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
• Prepares notices and change order documentation for the client and project management.
• Determines and manages schedules and budgets for assigned project proposal and close outs, monitors progress and manages material logistics.
• Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate coordination between office and field.
• Supports the relationship with the customer at a professional and technical level.
• Set goals for field management, subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage performance, productivity and work quality of all field management, subcontractors and vendors to complete projects on time.
• Order and coordinate the delivery of material and equipment to optimize job efficiency.
• Implements and enforces all company and contractual policies, safety standards and installation best practices.
• Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings.
