Job summary

SOLV Energy, including its SDI Services affiliate, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to oversee day-to-day project operations for drilling pile installations, racking, module installs, and quality control on utility-scale solar projects. This fully remote role requires strong planning, procurement, and contract change management across multiple projects.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets construction plans and specifications.
• Writes professional emails and formal letters.
• Schedules using MS Project.
• Maintains MS Excel dashboards and cost tracking.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Spectrum and Procore preferred.
• Shows attention to detail and dependable work ethic.
• Demonstrates organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible hours and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling project execution.
• Assist in determining technical skills and staff hours for project success.
• Disseminate technical and contractual information to project team members.
• Prepare reports and documentation for client and project management.
• Prepare notices and change order documentation for client and project management.
• Manage schedules and budgets for proposals and closeouts; coordinate with procurement and field teams.
• Support customer relationships at professional and technical levels.
• Set goals for field management, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor performance, productivity and quality of field teams to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate material and equipment delivery to optimize job efficiency.
• Enforce company policies, safety standards and installation best practices.
• Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings.
