Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead day-to-day operations for solar PV projects through SDI Services, an SOLV Energy affiliate. You will manage drilling pile installations, racking, module installs, QA/QC, and change orders with a focus on safe, efficient delivery.

Frequent travel is expected; role is fully remote with location details discussed during interview. Requires 4-year construction degree and 7+ years’ experience; PMP preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading plans and specs.
• Strong client communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel dashboards, and technical reporting.
• MS Word/Outlook/PowerPoint proficiency required.
• Attention to detail and dependable work ethic.
• Leadership and ability to manage field teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, supervise, and control project execution.
• Determine skills and staffing hours for project success.
• Analyze and circulate technical/contract information to the team.
• Prepare reports for client and management.
• Prepare notices and change orders documentation.
• Set schedules and budgets; oversee procurement and logistics.
• Coordinate with customers at professional/technical levels.
• Set goals for field management and vendors; ensure tasks stay on track.
• Manage performance and quality of field teams to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate material delivery to optimize efficiency.
• Enforce safety standards and company policies.
• Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings.
