Job summary

Moss is seeking an Energy Field Recruiter to support solar utility-scale projects nationwide. This remote role requires 50-70% travel to project sites and close collaboration with project leadership and hiring managers to build and maintain active talent pipelines for craft and hourly roles.

You will source, screen, and coordinate candidates, promote Moss's employer brand, and create market-specific recruiting plans while traveling to site events.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition.
• Strong sourcing across multiple platforms.
• Ability to build relationships with field leadership.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to build active talent pipelines supporting current and future craft and hourly workforce needs across assigned project sites.
• Partner with hiring managers and project leadership to understand workforce plans, job requirements, hiring forecasts, and local labor market conditions.
• Source and engage qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, community outreach, and direct recruiting methods including phone, text, and email campaigns.
• Promote Moss's employer brand and effectively communicate the company's culture, values, benefits, and career opportunities to prospective candidates.
• Create market-specific recruiting plans by researching local demographics, labor trends, and workforce availability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with workforce centers, community organizations, trade schools, chambers of commerce, churches, veteran organizations, and other community partners to enhance recruitment efforts.
• Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates and conduct initial phone screenings.
• Coordinate candidate movement throughout the hiring process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
• Organize and participate in hiring events, career fairs, project-site recruiting events, and community outreach initiatives.
• Maintain active candidate pipelines and talent communities for future staffing needs.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team members to share market intelligence, recruiting best practices, and pipeline development strategies.
• Track recruiting activity and ensure timely communication with candidates, hiring managers, and project stakeholders.
