Job summary

Moss is seeking an Energy Field Recruiter to partner with project leadership and hiring managers across solar, storage, and construction projects. You will proactively source, screen, and coordinate skilled craft and hourly labor talent for field sites with 50-70% travel, primarily remote from Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, strong sourcing capabilities, and delivering a positive candidate experience while supporting staffing objectives and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle recruiting across multiple platforms and channels.
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
• Ability to build relationships with field leadership, hiring managers, community partners, and candidates.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience recruiting for construction, renewable energy, solar, skilled trades, or industrial environments preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Haitian Creole strongly preferred, with ability to communicate with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to build active talent pipelines across project sites.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans, hiring forecasts, and labor market conditions.
• Source and engage candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Promote Moss's employer brand and communicate culture, benefits, and opportunities.
• Create market-specific recruiting plans by researching local demographics and labor trends.
• Establish relationships with workforce centers, trade schools, and community partners to enhance recruitment.
• Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate hiring process steps.
• Organize and participate in hiring events and project-site recruiting activities.
• Maintain active candidate pipelines and talent communities for future staffing needs.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to share market intelligence and pipeline strategies.
• Track recruiting activity and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
