Job summary

Moss is seeking an Energy Field Recruiter to support solar utility-scale projects nationwide. This remote role requires 50-70% travel and close collaboration with project leadership to forecast staffing needs and build strong candidate pipelines.

You will source, screen, and engage craft and hourly workers, manage the candidate journey, and represent Moss's safety culture and values on every interaction. This is a full-time exempt position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience leading full-cycle recruiting across multiple roles and sites.
• Strong sourcing strategies across job boards, social media, referrals, and events.
• Ability to engage candidates and build relationships with field leadership and hiring managers.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience recruiting for construction, renewable energy, solar, or industrial environments preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Haitian Creole is strongly preferred for diverse candidate populations.
• Willingness to travel periodically to project sites, events, and recruiting activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to build active talent pipelines for craft and hourly workers across project sites.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans, job requirements, and labor market conditions.
• Source and engage qualified candidates via job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Promote Moss's employer brand and communicate culture, benefits, and career opportunities to candidates.
• Create market-specific recruiting plans by researching local demographics and labor trends.
• Establish relationships with workforce centers, trade schools, chambers of commerce, and community partners.
• Review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to identify fit.
• Coordinate candidate movement through the hiring process for a smooth experience.
• Organize and participate in hiring events, career fairs, and site recruiting activities.
• Maintain active candidate pipelines and talent communities for future needs.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team on market intelligence and best practices.
• Track recruiting activity and ensure timely communication with candidates and stakeholders.
