Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks an Associate, Business Development to grow the Services business unit with new and existing customers across the asset lifecycle.

The role can be based in Scottsdale, AZ or remote within the U.S. and requires 25–50% travel. Visa sponsorship is not available. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $140,000 annually with potential for variable pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, account management, customer success, or other customer-facing roles.
• Experience using structured analysis, market insights, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Understand solar and BESS services markets and use data to prioritize opportunities.
• Support organic sales growth by identifying prospects and developing relationships.
• Collaborate with customers to understand needs and develop solutions for maintenance and service opportunities.
• Capture feedback and insights to improve sales processes and offerings.
• Support proposal development, pricing, deal reviews, negotiations, and contracting.
• Partner with DEPCOM Business Development and cross-functional teams to deliver a coordinated customer experience.
• Develop value-based proposals aligning capabilities with customer outcomes.
• Participate in meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events to build relationships.
