Job summary

EDB is seeking a Program Manager II to lead a portfolio of software engineering programs for the CTO's Office. This remote role supports the Chief of Staff/PMO and Sr. Engineering Director, driving governance, cadence, and executive communications across global teams.

You will craft executive-ready reports, track delivery metrics, manage risks, and push for data-driven decisions while leveraging AI-assisted processes to improve workflows across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing technical programs in a software engineering environment with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of how software is built and shipped, including sprints, releases, and dependencies.
• Defined and tracked key metrics to surface risks and inform decisions.
• Collaborated across global engineering teams to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Made informed decisions independently with sound problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow up with senior leaders and engineers persuasively.
• Experience delivering executive presentations/reports and using AI-assisted insights.
• Growth mindset with quick application of new skills in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of technical programs aligned with priorities and deliver consistent outcomes.
• Own the full cadence for programs, including tracking, status and risk logs, escalating blockers with recommendations.
• Build and maintain executive-ready reports and dashboards on delivery and velocity.
• Lead alignment across global teams and senior leaders, clarifying requirements and plans.
• Communicate ideas persuasively to influence decisions and outcomes.
