Job summary

EDB is seeking a Program Manager II to lead alignment across global engineering teams and manage a portfolio of technical programs. You will report to a Senior Engineering Director in the Chief of Staff / PMO and help the CTO's leadership team plan cycles, governance, and executive communications, while treating AI as integral to workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical programs in a software engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of sprints, releases, and dependencies.
• Data fluency with defining metrics, tracking them, and surfacing risks.
• Proven ability to collaborate with global engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Sound judgment in complex decisions; proactive escalation when needed.
• Ability to elevate issues with senior leaders and engineers respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of technical programs aligned with priorities and deliver consistent outcomes.
• Own the full cadence for programs: tracking, status, risk logs, blockers escalation.
• Build executive-ready reports and dashboards on delivery, spend, and velocity.
• Lead alignment across global engineering teams and senior leaders; clarify requirements and plans.
• Communicate ideas persuasively to influence decisions and outcomes.
