Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking an Software Engineering Manager to guide and grow a distributed engineering team responsible for the NinjaOne IT Operations SaaS platform. You will lead technology direction, own product delivery, and collaborate with product management and platform engineering to build and maintain core features for millions of endpoints.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure adherence to security and code quality standards while enabling a remote,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of distributed software development experience.
• 3+ years of direct software engineering management experience.
• Expertise in CI/CD, modern web UI development, caching systems, key-value databases, API development, and code quality practices.
• Experience with security best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive system improvements through refactoring.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback on design choices and mentor teams.
• Experience supervising and mentoring remote engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide full‑stack software development technical leadership for the team.
• Lead and grow distributed UI and Server teams delivering NinjaOne features.
• Own technology direction and ensure delivery of high‑quality software.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Platform Engineering across the organization.
